1. Our commitment
Avelina’s Art LLC will never sell, rent, trade, or share your information, or your child’s artwork, for any purpose other than delivering the service you asked for.
This Privacy Policy explains what information Avelina’s Art LLC (“we,” “us,” “our”) collects through avelinasart.com and related services (the “Service”), how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies alongside our Terms of Use, and terms defined there have the same meaning here.
The Service is offered only to teachers and parents or legal guardians. Teachers upload students’ artwork and share it with parents; parents review, approve, and purchase keepsake products. The Service has no public galleries, profiles, messaging, or other community features. Artwork is visible only to the uploading teacher and the parents it is shared with.
2. Information we collect
We collect only what we need to run accounts, produce products, and fulfill orders.

We do not ask for, and ask users not to upload, a child’s full name, birth date, photo of the child’s face, home address, or other identifying details beyond what is needed to label the artwork.
3. How we use information
We use information only to deliver the Service, and for no other purpose. Specifically, we use it to:
- Create and manage teacher and parent accounts, and let teachers share artwork with the right parents
- Prepare product designs and send them for your review and approval by email or phone
- Produce approved products; production begins only after you approve the design
- Process payments, calculate shipping, ship orders, and send order and shipping updates
- Handle defect reports and replacements under our Terms of Use
- Answer questions and provide customer support
- Keep the Service secure, prevent fraud, and fix technical problems
- Meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations
We do not use your information or your child’s artwork for advertising, marketing to third parties, profiling, data brokering, or training artificial intelligence models. We will not display artwork in our own marketing without the parent’s separate written permission. If you choose to receive emails about new products from us, you can unsubscribe at any time; this never affects order-related messages.
4. When information leaves Avelina’s Art
We do not sell or share personal information, as “sell” and “share” are defined under applicable privacy laws, and we never will. Information goes to others only in these limited cases:
- Service providers that help deliver your order. This includes our website host, payment processor, print and production partners, shipping carriers, and email or phone tools. Each receives only what it needs for its task, must keep it confidential, and may not use it for any other purpose.
- Within your class. Artwork a teacher uploads is shared only with that student’s parent or guardian, as the Service is designed to do.
- Legal requirements. We may disclose information when required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect the safety of a child or others.
- Business transfer. If Avelina’s Art is merged or sold, information may transfer to the new owner only on the condition that it keeps the commitments in this Policy.
We do not use third-party advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or cross-site behavioral tracking.
5. Children’s privacy
Children do not use the Service and may not create accounts. Accounts are for adults only: teachers, and parents or legal guardians.
We treat children’s artwork and the limited details attached to it as information about a child, consistent with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). Teachers who upload artwork confirm they do so with authorization from their school or with parental consent. Parents may at any time:
- See the artwork and details stored about their child
- Ask us to correct or delete them
- Ask us to stop collecting artwork for their child
If we learn that a child has created an account or provided personal information directly, we will delete it promptly.
6. Retention
We keep artwork and account information while your account is active, so you can reorder keepsakes. Order and payment records are kept as long as tax and accounting law requires. When you close your account or ask us to delete your data, we delete or de-identify it within 30 days, except records we must keep by law.
7. Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, and secure hosting to protect information. Payments are handled by a PCI-compliant payment processor. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your information, we will notify you as required by law.
8. Your rights and choices
Any teacher or parent may ask to access, correct, download, or delete their personal information or their child’s artwork. Residents of New Jersey and other states with consumer privacy laws have these rights by law, and we extend them to all users. To make a request, contact us using the details below. We will verify your identity and respond within 45 days. We will not treat you differently for exercising your rights.
9. Governing law and changes
This Policy is governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, consistent with our Terms of Use. If we make material changes, we will update the date above and notify account holders by email before the changes take effect. We will never change this Policy to allow selling or sharing your information without your express consent.
